IFHC Honours UAE Flag Day at Abu Dhabi Headquarters
Abu Dhabi, 3rd November 2014:TheInternational Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC)paid tribute toFlag Day and the United Arab Emirates today by raising the nation’s flag at its headquartersin Abu Dhabi. A symbol of unity, Flag Day commemorates the anniversary of His Highness ShaikhKhalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE and honours the country’s heritage and future. The support of the President has been vital to the Fund, which carries on the inspiring legacy of his father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The vision of our leaders has created the vibrant country we live in today, and we are immensely proud to raise the UAE flag on this special occasion," said Mohamed Saleh Al Baidani, Director General of IFHC
About The International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC)
Established in 2006 by Royal Decree from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the International Fund for Houbara Conservation is tasked with overseeing the conservation and restoration of the wild Houbara populations to numbers that will ensure its long-term preservation, while maintaining a traditional pillar of Arabian heritage –Falconry.
